What does she do?

In 2006, she served as majority whip in the South Carolina General Assembly. During 2006, she was re-elected to her seat in the South Carolina House of Representatives. On November 8, 2014, Haley was re-elected for a second four-year term as governor of South Carolina after a successful campaign during her first term through a booming state economy. She led the effort for the removal of the confederate flag after initially opposing it. A racist shooting in a Methodist church in Charleston, South Carolina caused this event to remove the flag.
Trump announced Haley as his selection for United States Ambassador to the United Nations, which was confirmed by the Senate with a landslide vote. She resigned as Governor of South Carolina on January 24, 2017. The next day, she was sworn in as Ambassador to the United Nations. Haley resigned as Ambassador on October 9, 2018.
Nikki Haley has always been a strong voice for women’s rights in the workplace. Her lucrative political career has been remarkable. Rumors were everywhere that she might make a run on the Republican side as a rival against President Trump. Currently, this isn’t feasible in Haley’s viewpoint. There is no reason not to keep a focus on what she does after this election. It could be an interesting 2024 election if all goes well for the Republicans in this year’s event.
